YSR Congress MLA Roja, who has been suspended for one year for her alleged comments against TDP MLA Anitha in Andhra Pradesh Assembly, has been asked to come to AP Assembly Privilege Committee to put forward her statements. It is learnt that Roja said to TDP MLA Anitha. Roja has alleged that TDP members have targeted her in the Assembly.

YSR Congress MLA Roja reopened the controversy which may be dying down. After the privileges committee meeting, the committee announced that Roja apologized to Anitha and they will be submitting a detailed report to Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao very soon. However speaking to media after that Roja, declined apology news. She clarified that she did not ask for apology to any one and she can not do so for the comments she did not make. She only said that she withdrew the comments she made. So, these comments again show that Roja is not regreting her behaviour in the house. We will have to see if these dual talk will prove to be costly to her. It is known that Roja is caught on video using some very personal comments on Anitha and disgraceful name calling of the Chief Minister. Finally was awarded one year suspension. She waged a legal battle against the government and the Speaker in high court but failed to get a favourable judgement there and is now in Supreme court door step.
