Natasimham Nandamruri Balakrishna is upbeat about doing a historical biopic 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni'. The formal launch of the movie was held at Amaravahi on the auspicious day of Ugadi. The makers have earlier contemplated to rope in Nayantara as the female lead of the movie. But Nayantara hasn't given nod for the project, as she couldn't adjust her dates. 

 

And now the makers are planning to select Kajal Aggarwal as the lead actress of the movie. Kajal has done princess roles in movies such as 'Magadheera' and 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh'. If at all she accepts the project, she will get princess role again. But then, it remains to be seen whether she okays the project or turns down it.

 

The puja formalities will be held on 22nd of this month while the film goes on sets for regular shooting from May 10. The makers have also locked the first teaser's launch of the movie on June 10 which happens to be the birthday of Balakrishna. Meanwhile, Krish will direct 'GS' on First Frame Entertainment in association with his friend Rajiv Reddy.
