hydKaSher Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Guntur: Former Union minister and BJP leader, Daggubati Purandeswari said that BJP’s image is being tarnished in AP due to negative propaganda in the state despite allotting huge funds, projects and schemes. She said BJP did not own any channel or newspaper in AP and asked BJP leaders and activists to fight against the false propaganda. She claimed that AP government did not submit any Detailed Project Report (DPR) to the Union government about new capital Amaravati but the BJP government allotted Rs 2,000 crore funds for it. Addressing the meeting, Ms Purandeswari recalled that the BJP national president Amit Shah had categorically explained about sanctioning of Rs 1.40 lakh crore funds to AP in the past 20 months but some forces are trying to blame which is very sad and continuing the false propaganda about absence of funds to AP. She added that BJP government is ready to sanction the required funds to Polavaram national project but the TD-led state government did not give reports of fund expenditures given by the Union government.
