అవినీతితో ఒక మధ్య శ్రేణి ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగి ఎంతమేర ఆస్తుల్ని కూడబెట్టొచ్చు? పది కోట్లు.. ఇరవై కోట్లు.. లేదంటే వంద కోట్లు. మరీ అంత పెద్ద మొత్తమా అని అనొచ్చు. కానీ తాజాగా భాగోతం వింటే మాత్రం గుండెలు అవిసిపోతాయి. వందకోట్ల ఆస్తులు ఏమూలకు అన్నట్లుగా ఉంటుంది ఆదిమూలం మోహన్ యవ్వారం వింటే. ఇతగాడి ఆస్తుల విలువ ఏకంగా రూ.వెయ్యి కోట్లకు పైనే ఉంటాయన్న మాట ఇప్పుడు సంచలనంగా మారింది. అంత భారీ మొత్తమా అని విన్నోళ్ల నోట వెంట మాట రాకుండా పోవటం ఖాయం. గడిచిన కొద్ది రోజులుగా కాకినాడ డిప్యూటీ రవాణా కమిషనర్ అవినీతి భాగోతం కథలు.. కథలుగా వింటున్న పరిస్థితి. అయ్యగారి అవినీతి భాగోతం తవ్వేకొద్దీ గుట్టలు గుట్టలుగా ఆస్తులు బయటకు రావటమే కాదు.. వాటి విలువ కట్టలేక ఏసీబీ అధికారులు  అలిసిపోతున్నారట.

తన అవినీతితో మూడు రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఆస్తుల్ని భారీగా కూడబెట్టిన ఆదిమూలం మోహన్ ఆస్తులను అధికారులు తొలుత రూ.వంద కోట్లుగా మాత్రమే అంచనా వేశారు. అయితే.. తవ్వే కొద్దీ బయటకు వస్తున్న ఆస్తులు అంతకంతకు పెరిగి ఇప్పుడు వెయ్యి కోట్లకు పైనే ఉందన్న మాట షాకింగ్ గా మారింది. ఆయన సతీమణి స్వస్థలమైన బళ్లారిలోనూ.. ఇద్దరు కుమార్తెల పేరిట భారీగా ఆస్తులు కొనుగోలు చేసినట్లుగా చెబుతున్నారు.

గడిచిన నాలుగు రోజులుగా మోహన్ కు సంబంధించిన ఆస్తుల మీద ఏసీబీ తనిఖీలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మోహన్ కు సంబంధించిన ఆస్తులతో పాటు.. ఆయన బినామీల వివరాలు బయటకు వస్తున్నాయి. అవినీతి సొమ్ము మాత్రమే కాదు.. పలు బ్యాంకుల నుంచి బినామీ పేర్లతో కోట్లాది రూపాయిలు రుణం తీసుకొని ఎగ్గొట్టిన వైనం అధికారులను నివ్వెర పరుస్తోంది. హైదరాబాద్ లోని పలు బ్యాంకుల నుంచి కోట్లాది రూపాయిలు అప్పులు తీసుకొని.. ఎగవేసినట్లుగా గుర్తించారు. మోహన్ కు చెందిన ఆస్తులుగా చెబుతున్న వాటిల్లో కొన్ని వివరాలు చూస్తే.. ఆదిమూలం అవినీతి రేంజ్ ఏంటో ఇట్టే అర్థమవుతుంది.

Dy Commissioner Adimoolam Mohan arrested

Raids yield gold, silver, flats, plots, agricultural lands and more

Kakinada, April 29, 2016: Believe it or not, a deputy commissioner in the road transport department of Andhra Pradesh Government has amassed illegal wealth to the tune of Rs.150 Cr. The RTA official is Adimoolam Mohan working in EG district.

The amassing of wealth by the official through corruption came to light when the special teams of ACB conducted simultaneous raids on the houses of Adimoolam Mohan and his close relatives in AP, Telangana and Karnataka on Thursday. The raids began in the early hours of Thursday and are continuing when reports last came in. The raids will take place for another two days.

Senior ACB officials said raids were continuing at several places and the exact total valuation of the properties found in shape of gold , silver, flats , agricultural lands and house sites at various places is yet to be completed. Officials put it roughly around Rs. 150 Cr. The actual value of the illegal properties will be known when the raids are completed and compete valuation is done.

Officials were shocked to find bundles of documents in his possession. Documents relating to 8 plots at Kompally, 4 plots at Madapur and 4 storied apartment complex on 699 sq. yards of land at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad were found in his possession.

The special teams have also found documents relating to 9 acres agricultural land in Chittoor district and 45 acres agricultural land in Prakasam district. Papers relating to one house in the name of his daughter and two houses in the name of his son-in-law  in Vijayawada were also found during the raids.

Papers relating to five industries in Hyderabad, said to be owned by Adimoolam Mohan’s daughter, were also found to be in his possession. Officials said these industries are only on paper and there were no factories in fact on these lands. Mohan  is said to have registered these industries to turn black money into white, according to officials.
