immigration question

Guys , my organization is being acquired by different organization 

I have a full time job with 3 yrs contract and still have 6 more months left , current employer filed perm and I got I 140 

Now they want to change my contract to new one , I am planning to find a new job , but I have contract obligation for 6 more months 

They say I have to file new I 140 but not new perm 

My question Is if my organization is dissolved , is my I 140 still valid ????

i think ilanti acquistions case lo its upto the holding company to keep the i-140...but complex i think...chala documentation untadhi and only legal advisor can asnwer what can be done........

if it acquired by a different company , usually new i140 with old perm should work.
