Venkat put up his cell phone and few other products for sale online. One Latino woman contacted him regarding this cell phone and Venkat went to meet her personally to hand over the cell phone. The deal was completed. But one day later, he got another call from the same woman asking to to come to a resturant as she 'faced some problems' with the cell phone. When Venkat reached the said restaurant, she along with four other persons pounced on him and tried to rob him.

When he raised alarm, they shot him and left the scene. Venkat originally hails from Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh.

People should know that the downtowns in Michigan are very dangerous and one should be careful when venturing at nights.

sorry2 sorry2 if any people here are from Detroit hurted, thats only my opinion...... But, the facts show that Detroit has one of the highest crime rates in US.

Personally I have visited Detroit once......I think Hyderabad Old city area is much safer around 1-2AM than Detriot....
