hydKaSher Posted May 16, 2016 Report Posted May 16, 2016 Hyderabad: With yet another 'residence camp office' for chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad, the financial burden for frequent change of offices and CMO now stands at Rs 80 crore. This is Naidu's fourth camp office in Hyderabad.The government has set up as many as five camp offices and two regular offices for Naidu in the last two years. First, the H block was spruced up and later the L block. None of them is being used now as Naidu has shifted to Vijayawada, where a temporary camp office was set up at a cost of about Rs 21 crore. Yet another 'interim' office for the chief minister will be added to the tally when the chief minister shifts from his present camp office in Vijayawada to the upcoming interim government complex at Velagapudi village on the other side of the Krishna river in July. And when the final secretariat is constructed a couple of years later, Naidu will again shift his office for the ninth time. The state government on Thursday issued orders declaring the residence of Chandrababu Naidu at Madinaguda in Hyderabad as the 'residence camp office' whenever he visits Hyderabad. The government has already spent about Rs 2 crore on the Madinaguda residence. Orders were issued on April 6 sanctioning Rs 57 lakh and on April 1 for Rs 1.36 crore, mostly on security measures. Earlier, two more places in Hyderabad where Naidu had stayed were also declared as residence camp offices. About Rs 2 crore was spent on Naidu's residences on road no 24 and 65 in Jubilee Hills.
