Brahmotsavam, The Biggest Disaster Ever

 

Brahmotsavam is heading towards complete disaster in overseas, the market which is said to be the forte of Mahesh Babu.

Overseas rights of this film were sold for a whopping 13 crore as the buyers believed that it will be bigger hit than Srimanthudu in overseas. Brahmotsavam is yet to cross the One Million Dollars mark in US.

The collections came crashing down on Friday and Saturday and the buyers are looking at huge losses. The film has reportedly collected $980K+ by Saturday night.

At this rate it can only do around $1.2 Million in its full run says the trade circles. It has high chances of ending up as the biggest ever disaster in overseas market.

Mahesh’s flop movies like 1 Nenokkadine and Aagadu fared decently in overseas. But even the superstardom of Mahesh Babu is unable to bail out Brahmotsavam anywhere.

Its performance at the domestic box office is equally bad, but it is quite surprising to see a Mahesh Babu’s film perform so poorly in overseas.
