We all know that biggest hit of 2013 is Attarintiki Daredi. Do you know which film is the biggest flop in South India for the year 2013? It is none other than Varna. This film was made with a budget of Rs. 60 crores and failed to get back at least Rs 10 crore from both the versions. This film is not even bagging handsome price for satellite rights.

PVP Cinema suffered a loss of over Rs. 50 crores on this film. They have tasted success with Balupu, but given the budget involved Varna was supposed to be their biggest product of the year. They have expected the film to be the game changer in South cinema. But Varna turned out to be a debacle.

We have some biggest flops like Thoofan, Ramayya Vastavayya, Ongole Githa, Masala, Bhai etc. but Varna beats them all to take away the biggest flop tag. Surprisingly such a flop didn't affect the actors in it. Arya and Anushka are happily signing up other films. Only director Selva Raghavan was blamed for this failure.
