Mr KT Rama Rao, Minister for Industries, IT and MAUD visited medical devices major Boston Scientific Group's (BSG) integrated manufacturing, R&D and testing facility. The Minister informed the BSG leadership about the proposed Medical Devices Park in Telangana and invited them to set up their facility there.

The BSG leadership assured the Minister that they would definitely consider Telangana for their future expansion plans. 

 

 

Minister for IT & Industries Mr KT Rama Rao met Mr Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEO of Dreamworks at their office.

Dreamworks is looking for expanding their production facilities in India and sought partnership with Telangana state government for their long term plans. Minister K T Rama Rao has extended full support and cooperation in their endeavors.

 

 

Minister KTR visits La Kretz Innovation Campus

Minister K T Rama Rao visited La Kretz Innovation Campus in Los Angeles today to understand the functioning of Los Angeles Clean Tech Incubator (LACI)
The Minister was taken on a tour of the incubator and understood the practices that made it a successful incubator. Many of the innovations being incubated are relevant to Hyderabad and Telangana.

 

 

Minister KTR met Mr Nikesh Arora, President of SoftBank, a Japanese multinational corporation, with operations in broadband, fixed-line telecommunications, e-commerce, Internet, technology services, finance, media and marketing.

 

 

Minister Sri KT Rama Rao said that leaders are temporary and institutions permanent and Telangana Government has been striving to build institutions for the last two years. The Industries, IT and MAUD Minister addressed an impressive gathering at an event hosted by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) at Santa Clara in California, USA. Prominent CEOs and industrialists from the Silicon Valley took part in the event.
