As long as people don't take up arms against local muslims for what Hindus are facing in bangladesh, its perfectly fine to show solidarity to Hindus outside India.

Countries come and go. Majority of them have formed only in the last 100yrs. Ethnic attachments go beyond countries borders.

Its a good thing for people to show concern for others across the border, or several 1000s of kms away.

They may do it because of their religion, language, or even because their online gf (who they have never met, and is actually a boy) is from that place.

the reasons are immaterial. Its always good to circumvent one's feeling for their nation to support others.

Nationalism is quite possibly the ugliest form of assholery.
