Personally, massive improvement in my financial situation - and also in the case of Indians I know. 

Met fellow Indians who are decent, hard working, grateful to the United States for the opportunities they got here.  I have become more cosmopolitan, made friends from different races and backgrounds -which is not too surprising when you live in a country like the US - a veritable melting pot of the world.

 

Most of the Indians I know actually do want to settle down here in the US.
