my suggestion for a programming job:

 

pick a primary programming language:

just like our mother tounge, every programmer should have a primary language to express programming logic.

Java - requires atleast 4 weeks ( 20 x 2 hrs)

python / php / perl / javascript - requires atleast 2 weeks 

 

learn reading and writing code:

This is one of the most important skill. no code will be documented. all that you need is to learn how to read and write legible code.

requires 2 weeks ( 10 x 1 hr) 

 

understand the internet:

right from the step of typing www.google.com in the address bar till the page load.

 

how to find run-time complexity  and simple data structures : 

Big O notation

tree / hashmaps / sets / linkedlists / queue/ stacks

Bhayya its just a myth. Ma friends 100+ univ kuda unnaru, kashtapadi FT techkonnaru... Nenu < 30 clg lo chadiva, maku campus placements levu but still bayata apply chesi techkona.

you both might be exceptions. but 95% cases, Univ reputation matters. Ne college peru chepu ama. Ipude reason chapta enduku meku levo.

No college names bro  but basical ga ma clg chuttu pakkala we have very few technical companies so not many opportunities .. Interviews clear cheyalante ds / algos / coding strong unte chalu and prathi question online lo untundi. Just practice kavali anthe .
