Amendment chesthe you will have new case number ( EAC/WAC).. Thumb rule bedar.. Edaina ( H1 B / OPT) processing lo unnapudu travel seyyodu until and unless its urgent and compulsory.. If he can wait till amendment gets approved, I think thats safest way to have new approved case number to reserve the slot or fill DS-160..
