Mahesh delicately swung down to play the hero and rather requested that . Gunasekhar to come up with a modern, happening subject. The couple worked for movies like Okkadu, Arjun and Sainikudu and offer striking compatibility. As Sainikudu was a disaster, they couldn’t team up again. However Mahesh still has high respects for Guna and needs to work with him again. But Guna is pretty much keen on doing Pratapa Rudrudu as his next.
