Often hailed as Bollywood's Greek god, macho actor Hrithik Roshan has an impeccable fan following around the world. Hrithik often made news for being one of the highest paid stars in Bollywood with his paycheck touching the 30-40 crore bracket.

However, Hrithik has now overtaken the three Khans to become the highest paid actor ever in the country's filmmaking history. According to the latest buzz in the B-town, the makers of Hrithik's upcoming historical film Mohenjo Daro paid a staggering 68 crore to the actor, making him the country's top earner for a single film.

Until now, Bollywood's box-office Baadshah Salman Khan (40-50 crores), Shah Rukh Khan (40-45 crores), Aamir Khan (40-45 crores) and Akshay Kumar(35-40 crores) occupy the top 5 berths in the list of highest paid Bollywood stars and now, Hrithik best them all with a huge margin.

Mohenjo Daro is being produced by its director Ashutosh Gowariker and UTV Motion Pictures. This 150 plus crore high budget historical drama has recently wrapped up its shooting and the film will release on August 12.
