Its a bit unfair, but Mr.Khan must be conscious of his identity before he attempts to change public spaces in a way that gives his detractors the chance to use the 'muslim' card.

His excuse for this ridiculous ban is laughable.

Thank god, UK elite don't suck up to their riff-raff. If it was the US, the headlines would definitely mention his 'muslim'ness. Which is another reason why UK rocks. And its important to keep it that way.

This guy won just because Zac ran a really dirty campaign (much like Trump, but without being that loud) than he did.

I agree, now that he's the mayor, he should not let his religion dictate his public choices.
