nanibabu Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 ‘Chip of the old block’ is the expression used for a son who is more like his father but this time, here is a son who seems to have got past his father in many ways. He is none other than Allu Sirish, son of Allu Aravind and he seems to be a businessman who rules with a heart. Apparently, while Allu was away on elections, Sirish took over his family banner and he got the Geeta Arts logo changed. Later, he also invited the staff for a get together and lunch which never happened before. Many in the Geeta Arts camp say that Sirish is more of a people’s man unlike his father who believed in moneymaking only. It is also said that Sirish has got a better business culture, a vision that helps the staff as well as the management. He has also added since 1972 caption under the logo which gives the banner a branded look. The Geeta Arts staff as well as the industry folks is saying that Sirish is much better than his dad.
