Independence day part 2 - silliest sequel ever?

Watched this movie over the weekend, seriously very silly movie. Koncham Bollywood melodrama type lo teesadu. Loved the original when it came 20 years ago and had fond memories of going to that with all the school classmates. 

What was even more disappointing was to see the director advertise that he was making a 3rd part at the end of the movie. Ide ila undi adela untundo. Why do these people take good movies and make sequels thereby even making the legacy of the first part worse.

I had feeling that this is going to be bomb. So I went to The Shallows. Not a bad movie but felt bored in the middle for few minutes. Overall good movie.

I didn't get you, you meant to say you had a feeling this is going to be a movie. Yeah it is. Atleast Blake Lively would have offered some visual appeal should've gone to the Shallows myself.

First part ki picha fan. Same as you, still remember going to the movie in theater. Sequel bagaledhani reviews vachina kuda okkadine vellanu. punch fuluknama. It was embarrassing even to say that I am a fan of the 1st movie. So bad!
