Cadres are dull, let’s rejuvenate them: Chiru

Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi has admitted that the recent election results have completely demoralised the cadres at the grass root level.

So, what can be done to reactivate them? Chiranjeevi told the party leaders to come out with some action plans to rejuvenate the party cadres. As usual, so-called intellectual C Ramachandraiah has suggested the party should take up various “movements” to go into the people, which will activate the party workers. He pointed out that there is confusion in all the political parties – the Congress, the TDP and the TRS; and so, the PRP should capitalise on them and go into the people much before others do.

“What are the movements?” Chiru asked him; and Ramachandraiah had no answer. Even after a lot of brainstorming, the PRP leaders could not identify even a single major issue on which the party can take up big agitations. “Price rise? Weeding out of bogus ration cards? SC reservations issue?” – No, these are all sensitive issues. Finally, there came an advice. “First of all, let us have clarity and policy on all the issues concerning people. There is no point in taking to streets for silly reasons. People will laugh at us,” a leader said.

And the best way is to align with the Left parties. They will create problems and fight for them. That is how they keep their cadres always active!
