Prabhas_Fan Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Though awards are not the sole criteria to decide an actor's work and judge one's abilities, there's no denying that they do matter to actors and they act as boosters to do more good roles, challenging films. In the last one month, Tollywood has witnessed three major awards events. From CineMaa awards to Filmfare awards to just-concluded SIIMA awards, the Best Actor (Male) has gone to NTR, Mahesh Babu respectively leaving no awards for Prabhas. While Mahesh bagged Black Lady and SIIMA for his blockbuster Srimanthudu, NTR has walked away with the Best Actor-CineMaa award for his role in Temper. However, it's Prabhas who was grossly ignored by all these major awards events and he was confined only to the nomination. Except Prabhas, everyone from Baahubali have received awards in one category or the other. Besides this, Prabhas isn't a social person. He doesn't maintain close relationship with media fraternity and keeps a distance from them. He doesn't have good PR team either. This could also be few reasons among other where he's missing awards. Well, let's see whether jury committees' and public voting would have change of mind and awards come his way for Prabhas at least for Baahubali 2 or not. Quote
