Superstar Krishna's Plan falls flat

Superstar Krishna’s ambitious plan of taking up commercial activitiy in the land allotted for studio has fallen flat, with High Court taking serious objections.

While issuing a stay order on the constructions going in Padmalaya studio lands, the court observed that the constructions were in gross violation of the government rules. The court asked the government to see that no further constructions were taken up in the studio land and it should not be encroached.

The government allocated prime land to Padmalaya studios in Banaja Hills only for taking up studio works. But Krishna appealed to the government to permit him to take up commercial works in the land left over after the construction of studio. Though the government initially issued orders to take back the land, Krishna and his brother Adinarayana Rao made a personal request with Chief Minister and got the order in their favour. This has now been struck down by the court.
