Telangana, which has been trying hard for the last one year to get good ranking in EoDB, was shocked over the ‘plagiarism’ resorted to by the AP government. The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion had set June 30 as the deadline for uploading data for securing ranks in the Ease of Doing Business and Telangana government submitted its data before the deadline. However, AP sought some more time and uploaded the data on July 1 and 2. Inquires revealed that the AP government officials just copied and pasted the data of the Telangana government, including spelling mistakes and reference numbers.
