You can do it..I did it in 2013 and got approval in 2 weeks . I got my H1 approval in May 2013 and transferred to new employer in July 2013.

We will only move to the new employer after h1 is approved. In 2013, I transfered to a new employer in the same situation. And it was done with no issues. In that case, I joined right after the petition was approved. Uploaded my petition 1st page in this link http://tinypic.com/r/5v29ls/9 . The reason am asking the question here even though my petition was approved in such scenario is because am trying to help a friend who is in the same situation and one of his new employer is saying it is possible and other is saying it is not possible. October varaku enduku aaguthaledu anedi vani ishtam.. Just correct answer idham ani anthe.

this was my petition that was approved in 2013. I understand that joef mentioned that but I am looking for a strong reason to think why a new h1b petition cannot be applied even though we have the approved petition letter.

ante nee case lo issues lekunda kotha petition approve ayindi antunnav adi 3 years back. Rules konchem tough ayyayi  ee madya antha easy ga approve avthaledu..........sare inni scenrios lo kuda RFE padadu ante its your frnd's wish......

Is it illegal to do so? Rules tough ayinayi.. Correct Ae.. But thappu cheste problem kadha.. In this case, is it illegal to move to another employer? They only approve if the new employer proves the employment by correct documentation right. Documentation correct lekunte reject chestaru emo.. But candidate mistake undha ledha indulo
