Ask him to find good lawyer... and file for GC under refugee/asylum quota

He will get work permit in less than 2-3 months ...

india lo poe daggara problem avthadhi kadhaa bhaiyya. Also,  some airlines won't even allow you to board the plane anukunta.

refugee/asylum quota only for undocumented vallaki. I mean not for those who entered US legally and overstayed.
