2nd week fo September is probably almost end of the summer activities in Seward. Try your luck and see if you can find kayaking to aialik glacier also try and see if day cruises to the glaciers there. Take only 1 day cruise either in Whittier or Seward but not both, you will be overwhelmed with glaciers otherwise. While in Seward checkout the aquarium and the seavy brothers dog mushing. Trek all the way up from the exit glacier to the top too while in Seward.
