Starting feb or April they changed the rules brother I think I have mentioned earlier until your background check is completed you won't be shipped that's the reason they gave new applicants ship date one year later from the day they are enlisted Quote

So after that date your initial MOS was just a place holder and you could only choose an MOS after your SSBI and NIAC are done. But now even for people that have enlisted before Feb 28th they have enforced the rule that there's no ETP so you need both NIAC and SSBI to be completed before you can ship to the BCT. Quote

It seems that there were instances after getting the ship date ppl overlooked the status and some went out of status where army ppl had hard time convincing the uscis folks. DOnt overlook status.. it will affect your background check too.. and put you in risk Quote
