'Oh God, make KCR sensible'

Hundreds of tribals in Palakonda in Mahbubnagar district have started performing special prayers for their village deities, not for their personal benefits, but for Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao.

The girijans prayed to the god, requesting Him to make KCR a sensible person and help him understand the problems of the people in the constituency. “He has not been coming to Mahbubnagar ever since he was elected as an MP from this place. At least, the God will bring a sense of responsibility in KCR and make him bother about his constituency,” they said.

KCR has purchased (or acquired forcibly?) a 4,000 square yards plot on the outskirts of Mahbubnagar. After the elections, he went there only once to get the plot registered, but not to tour the constituency. He did the same in case of Karimnagar and they taught him a fitting lesson in 2008 elections
