Shocking: annayya rejected by 5 heroines

It has been known that the makers have been hunt for the female lead for a long time and there have been lot of rumours about the heroine. It has been known that five actresses rejected the offer which is a huge surprise. An insider revealed that Megastar wanted a Bollywood actress and Kareena Kapoor has been initially approached for the role. She rejected as she conceived and then the makers approached Sonakshi Sinha. The actress revealed that she is not free in the coming days and is occupied with enough work. Then it was Katrina Kaif who has been contacted and she straightaway revealed that she is not interested in South Indian films. Then Vinayak brought the names of Anushka and Nayanathara on to the board as options and Megastar was happy with any of them. But surprising everyone, Anushka and Nayanthara backed out of the film and Kajal has been signed finally for the film. She will be joining the shoot from the second half of August.
