Centre releases Rs 4,404 cr to 8 States under Amrut scheme (03-08-2016)

The central government has released 4,404 crores to 8 states under Amrut scheme to develop the basic infrastructure in the cities and towns of these states. Andhra Pradesh is approved with 877 crores and out of which the centre has released 325 crores and 277 crores are released for Telangana out of the approved 555 crores.
