What exactly are the benefits by using a travel agent?

I don't understand that there are lot of comparison websites to search ourselves and book, then why use agents?

usually they can give tickets for lesser price, samething happened to me. once I looked only emirates was 1090 nd i called agent they gave me for 945. see the difference enjoy go india have fun

Thru agents aithe u can save around $100. If you have to reschedule, then charges will be around $350.

If you book directly on the airlines site, rescheduling fees is usually $100-$200 depending on the airline.

I usually get the best quotes from Alanita travel.
