How do I avoid him without offending him? We are grad school classmates living nearby in the US. I don't expect anything from him, have maintained a friendly relationship and haven’t invited him even when he said he wanted to visit. However, these frequent visits lead me to think I am being taken advantage of, which I resent.

If he is really intruding and disturbing then i would say..... just show non-coperation movement to him...... ante.... let him come but dont participate in anything....let him take care of everything.... let him cook... let him clean vessels..... let him clean up..... you just sit and watch a nice movie.... that way you atleast have somebody cleaning and cooking for you....for free If he asks for help just say you are little tired and need some rest..... 1-2 times ila chesthey 3rd time inka raadu vaadu....
