samething happened to my friends also, he sublet the apt when he moved to other state to bachelors and they did racha, leasing office fined 5K but he does not know until collection called him. he hired advocate for 4K but no use. he paid 5K fine and that collection in his record for 7 years uncle

 

so only way is pay money and get out of this and beg collection dept to remove from history only option for you

do not waste money on advocate and all that
