Did Dipa Karmikar deserve a bronze atleast???

One of the guys on a Facebook post said that the judges were a bit unfair towards Dipa and she should have atleast got a bronze medal. Apparently the silver medalist botched one of her moves and didn't deserve the silver. Also that the one that tried the pradunova but failed received a 14.9 while Dipa who did it successfully got a 15.3 only.

Was driving the whole day so missed it, anyone watched this? Mee opinions enti, trying to find an unbiased opinion.

Does that bad luck also include being Indian? As is if she were American or some other European, would she have received a bronze?

Indian's Drusti konam nunchi chuste manaki aah soft corner factor untadi, the second attempt done by Dipa landing lo koncham better ga unte surely she would have got medal..

While landing on 2nd attempt even tough the difficulty factor made her score more points but while landing along with her toes even her body seems got in contact with the landing floor which made difference & if her body didn't go so close to get in contact with floor surely more points would have been awarded,there was some time taken by judges while giving points they checked the replays twice.

nope yahoo article lo inspite of bad landing she came 4th because she did very dangerous attempt before which gave her more points..i guess top 3 were consistently good.. but coming from india she deserved atleast bronze for all the hrdwork with not much facilities

Once her vault attempt was done she was at 2nd place...Later the subsequent athletes did better and she came down to 4th missing by a whisker.

Dipa will grow from here, india has noticed, funds will.flow.now for her, next Olympic she will be ready for medal.

true .. funding and facilities improve ayite she will have a shot at silver. as there is simone biles who is just 19 from usa and scored 3 golds already

second attemp was highest difficulty rating...its difficult but landing perfect ga unte she would have got silver.

USA advantage enti ante they know how much they need to score bcoz they are at the last. so she did two average difficulty ones and landed both perfectly...lekpaothe US gymnast body type ki produnova kastam...
