Participating in a function on Friday, Naidu recalled that when he was the chief minister in the past, he had encouraged sports like never before. “I had made a lot of efforts to encourage young sports persons and strived for their growth. And badminton coach Pullela Gopichand was one of them. I extended a lot of assistance to Gopichand, because of which he could produce brilliant sportspersons. That Sindhu could bring a medal to the country is only because of the encouragement I had given to Gopichand those days,” he said.

You are a genius, Mr Naidu! You were responsible for Satya Nadella to become the CEO of Microsoft. No surprise, you are responsible for bringing Olympic medal to India!
