if you want to send more than 15 k use direct wire transfer from bank or use money2anywhere ..i used money2anywhere 2 months back and transferred 40k..but you need to look at something called gift tax..in case you want to avoid that send the amount to multiple persons below 14k

thats gone, you have to open an account with SBI NY office before you can send any money, not sure if there is online option to open the account
