LordOfMud Posted September 10, 2016 Report Posted September 10, 2016 Andhra Pradesh stood at No.1 in crime against women with 2,200 cases while Telengana stood in the No.2 position in the country with 1,228 cases. National Crime Records Bureau’s recent report shows this fact. In spite of the efforts from the governments of both the states to stop the crime against women, the number of cases which are being filed were increasing. Telengana government is giving high protection in the IT corridor areas but in the other parts of the state, the rate was stated to be higher. TDP government on the other hand in Andhra Pradesh needs to work tremendously on increasing the protection. Maharastra stands in third position with 1,119 cases. Quote
