And there is nothing wrong giving luxury to parents, they have spent almost all their life  and all their finances to provide education to your husband.

If you really have big financial problems, Better explain how the things going  to your parents they understand. Dont fight with your husband, support him, he is not doing anything wrong. 

If you do this to your elders, your kids learn from you and do the same things to you.
