yup..shameless ripoff

nothing shameless about it. He just used the narrative technique.

It is much better than what another moron tried to do with Ghajini.

yevaru vaaru? Can i say karthik subbaraj, selva raghavan and mysskin are few of them?

Maniratnam is not a director in the traditional sense. He's more a man of exquisite taste, and has the ability to identify and attract skillful people around him. Or atleast had.

He will remembered forever for making the most beautiful and pointless films. $^^E

I believe mani ratnam is the only guy who can deal with so many stars in one movie like yuva, iddaru, amrutha, dalapathi, mounaragam.. You see strong screenplay in his movies not stars

only dalapathi had 'stars'. otherwise, maniratnam these days seems to make movies out of talking points he picks up from the old age home he lives in.

But then, he deserves to make another 10 bad films, just because he made Iruvar. He'll be excused for ripping off viewers with his outdated movies.

But he got his own creativity and he stucked to that, but if you look directors like rajamouli and shankar, they always rely on commercial value. You feel bore if you see rajamouli and shankar movies

For me mani ratnam, vishal bharadwaj, anurag kashyp, neeraj pandey are good in dealing the subject.

okay. maniratnam is also a purely commercial director, but he caters to a different section of the audience.

He used to do it well. His Iruvar was an exception. Even he doesn't know how and why he made that movie.

He don't really force comedy and fights into the movie, unfortunately we just stuck to regular commercial movies..you don't miss art in his movie that why every actor want to be part of his movies
