JANASENA Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 As rightly said by our Former President Late Dr. Abdul Kalam,”If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun.” This girl Divya proves that there is no substitute for hard work. Every evening, Divya spends her time here (at the railway station) to study and do her school’s homework in the lights near the Enquiry Counter at Railway station in Orai. Her plight and challenging conditions don’t hold back her sheer determination and passion for studying hard. Her parents reside near a temple close to Railway Station. They live without electricity. So Divya chooses to come to this station so that she could get some light to study. In a country where equal opportunity is denied to many children, she fights like a warrior and faces these trails with a smile. If we look carefully, we will be able to find thousands of Divya’s around the country who are dedicated enough to pursue their dreams but don’t have the resources that will enable them. Quote
