Producers Flee Abroad Fearing IT Raids?

Producer 'friends' who have delivered back to back blockbusters have quietly left for abroad fearing raids from Income Tax authorities. They were not seen anywhere in Hyderabad after the success meet of their recent big hit.

As per buzz they got the information that IT department would be raiding their office and hence they went to USA as their next production will take a while to go on floors.

In fact, the so-called raids by the Income Tax authorities are said to be just for the sake of formality.

Apparently, the I-T authorities are under pressure to achieve the targets fixed under the voluntarily disclosure scheme meant for big firms and individuals and the deadline is September 30.

So, having no other option, they have started targeting the film producers whose films have become hits in the recent past. They are requesting the producers to voluntarily disclose at least some portion of their profits as black money, so that they could reach their targets. 

That is the reason behind these IT raids!
