Chicago - Need suggestions for a 2 day trip

I need some suggestions for a 2 day trip to Chicago - going with wife.Sunday morning to Monday evening.

1. Good area in the downtown to stay for the night

2. Places to visit

All the suggestions and advice is very much appreciated. Going for the first time.

Time waste kadhu and you will cover atleast 5 major places or events...

hotel -- any descent but get a hotel only in north side,,,much safer than south and west side, 

places: -- arch boat tour, millenium park, navy pier, aquarium, john hancock (check the 95th floor signature tower bar and restaurant with glass window view of complete chicago DT),  Willis tower, malls in DT, michigan lake, lake shore drive, 

2 days would be good enough to cover these places, all are like 5 mile radius within dt,, have fun mate!!!!

I booked a room in Millennium Knickerbocker (163 E Walton Pl, Chicago, IL 60611). Is it a good area? Hopefully it is  Non-Refundable rate.

+1 95th floor signature tower window view totally worth it...bill oka 100$ easy avthundi restaurent lo..food not great...veg options very very less...non veg taste ok...

Bus tours basic thing bro, i think they do it evey other hour,, you can see those open top china style buses roaming in down town streets all the time,  the guide will explain about building in down town, like whats the history, speciality etc about all those buildings, just like Arch Boat tour in chcago river, be safe and have fun man

Signature longue lo u no need to dine you can just have some smoothie and look around

its like a bar and restaurant dude, 95th floor lo, you can order drinks, food take a window seat and enjoy the down town view, to go up to 95th floor is free, but there would be long waiting line though to get a table, its a nice hangout place with friends or perfect place taking a girl out, like a date or something....i miss those days..
