Opening NRE/NRI account in India from USA

Can we open NRE/NRI account in India from USA.did anyone do it?can you please tell what documents are required and what is the process?

Yes I did hdfc open chesina 3 weeks padtundi .. they will send dhl drop off slip submit all selfattested documents your done

APNRT lo register chesukunte Exchange rate 50 paise ekkuva vastundi when you txfer the money via ICICI Money2India Service.

NRE/NRI accounts kooda create chesukovachu.

Thanks friends.another question.Can we transfer fixed deposits money from parents account  in India to this NRE/NRI account created from US or NRE/NRI accounts are only for sending money from US to India.Over the years I have sent money to my parents account and now I want to transfer that money to my NRE/NRO account

NRE account lo india to india cheyalev. only us to india.. india to india aithe nri or some othe raccounts
