my experience: 

stroller you will start using after 5 months.  

go to babysrus , price match with other websites , use bed bath&beyond coupon 20% , take babysrus card for 10-15% off,  you will get a pretty good one's for $150.

buy stroller + car seat together  for $150.

babu chitti, car seat is for 2 yrs . if kid outgrows infant car seat then you required front facing car seat. 

most of our indian babies doesn't front facing car seat for first 20 months. 

it is very safe to be in rear facing car seat than front one. 

kids doesn't withstand shakes for first 2yrs if some accident occurs. better to use rear one for first 2yrs.
