Jayalalithaa health UPDATE: Apollo says Tamil Nadu CM responding well; concerned AIADMK worker dies of stroke

Police and party workers today confirmed the death of 74-year-old AIADMK worker Muthusamy, saying that he had been upset over Jayalalitha's health conditions, over the past few days.

Chennai, October 03: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has been admitted to the hospital in a serious condition. Although the official party line seems to be that Jayalalithaa is responding well to the treatment as is confirmed by the health bulletin released by the Apollo hospitals, where Jayalalithaa is admitted, rumours have been flying around, about Jayalalithaa being on her death bed. Meanwhile, Amma’s fans and supporters have been thronging the streets outside the hospital and conducting frantic prayers, asking their respective deities to grant Amma a speedy recovery and good health.

The amount of worry that Amma’s dicey health conditions has caused amongst the party workers and supporters can only be gauged from the fact that one AIADMK worker has reportedly died of heart attack, after being worried sick over it. Police and party workers have confirmed the death of 74-year-old AIADMK worker Muthusamy, saying that he had been upset over Jayalalitha’s health conditions, over the past few days. Although, his wife and party members had tried to convince him that the Tamil Nadu CM will be alright in a few days, he still seemed extremely upset. He had complained of chest pains, amid rumours of Amma’s demise and was hospitalised soon after. However, he was declared brought dead, by the doctors at the hospital.
