solman Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 Before he entered politics about a decade ago, Chiranjeevi was reigning supreme in the Telugu film industry and he was an uncrowned king those days. Now, it is not sure whether he would get back his glory with his re-entry after an unsuccessful stint in politics. According to trade sources, Ram Charan Teja is rather over-estimating the outcome of his father’s 150th film “Khaidi No. 150.” The producers are demanding exorbitant rates for this film, on par with that of Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu. But buyers are hesitant to come forward because they were not sure whether Chiranjeevi has the same craze among the audiences now as he had in the past. As a result, the business of Khaidi No. 150 is going on a dull note. On the other hand, Gautami Putra Satakarni, the 100th film of Balakrishna is selling like a hot cake. Since it has a historical background, the buyers strongly believe that it would evoke tremendous response from the audiences. This is not the case with an out-and-out commercial film Khaidi No. 150, which has no takers despite the hype being created by the film makers because of its exorbitant price quoted by them. Quote
