Faced with the “stimulus overload” of being in India, David Letterman decided it was time to have his beard trimmed. The former “Late Show” host tidy up his facial hair and banter with locals.

“Are you here for a haircut or just watching?” the comedian asks a man sitting in the salon.

Letterman, who was in India filming an episode for National Geographic, also accepted an offer to have his head massaged. It looked ... soothing?

Letterman was satisfied with the trim. “The kid that did the beard did a really nice job,” he said.
