The event was organized under the supervision of Dallas YSRCP committee members and YSR Fans. Raman Reddy Kristapati welcomed the attendees and thanked each for coming at such a short notice. He outlined the various welface schemed done in the past by Dr. YSR. He then invited Krishna Koduru to brief few accomplishments of MLA Roja. Dr. Pavan Pamadurthi welcomed MLA Roja to Dallas and claimed her success is no less a story of any hard worker and leaves an indelible positive mark in the current day politics. He said under the disguise of Pattiseema project the current government is misusing funds and deceiving people. Ajay Reddy appreciated the gracefulness with which MLA Roja agreed to be part of Bathukamma celebrations at such a short notice and felt over joyed by her presence. Speaking at the occasion Hon’ble MLA Roja claimed she is humbled at the warm reception by the Dallas NRI’s, and said this is her second visit to Dallas and felt it always feels to be like at home. She recalled the high moral values, ethics, preservation of principles by late Dr. YSR which is now being fought by Y.S. Jagan and felt she is in the party that fights for the cause of the people. She congratulated the NRI’s for being active, fighting for the special status cause and also carrying the legacy of late Dr. YSR. She spoke in length and breadth about late Dr. YSR and felt extremely joyous in seeing so many followers of Dr. YSR. Later the Dallas City committee incharges Ramana Putlur, Subba Reddy Kondru, Krishnamohan felicitated the chief guest of the evening. Other community leaders who were present and honored the guest included IANT Past-President - Dr. Sridhar Reddy Korsapati, ATA Board Director - Ajay Reddy TANTEX President Subramanyam Jonnalagadda, President-Elect Krishna Uppalapati, Secretary Chinasatyam Veernapu, Committee members Krishna Koduru, Umamahesh Parnapalli, BOT Member Ramakrishna Rodda, Other community representatives who spoke at the event included Pratap Bheemireddy, Anil Yerramreddy, TANTEX Past-President NMS Reddy, Suresh Pathaneni, Chandu Reddy, Umamahesh Kurri, Ravindra, Mahesh Adibhatla. Dallas Area Rayalaseema Association also felicitated the guest. Representatives included Madhu Mallu, Bhaskar Gandikota, Satish Bommineni, Prabandh Reddy, Dr. Pavan Pamadurthi, Krishna Koduru, Thirumala Reddy, Obulreddy Sreenivas Reddy, Sunil Devireddy, Jagadish among others.
