Varahabhatla, Yarmala and 24-year-old Anvesh Kumar of Louisville were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated from the car, police said.

Kommu was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

Yarmala was taken by helicopter to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where he died around 1 a.m. Sunday.
