Hyper Posted October 26, 2016 Report Posted October 26, 2016 A 25-year-old water tanker driver from Bengaluru G Balakrishana has won the prestigious Mr Asia 2016 title at the recently concluded 5th Phil-Asia bodybuilding championships in the Philippines. In fact, it was not first victory for him in body building. Balakrishna has won Mr. Universe Under-24 junior contest in 2013 in Germany and Mr. Universe title in the same category at the world championship in Athens, Greece in 2014. He said he practices for nearly six hours a day at home and is trained by champions Sangram Chougla from Mumbai and Munish Kumar from Punjab. He is taking a rich daily diet that includes 750 g of chicken, 25 eggs, 300 g of rice, 200 g of vegetables along with fish for extra protein and fruits. Balakrishna said he started the water tanker business in 2010 to supplement his income as he is already working as a gym instructor. He is seeking government help to win more number of titles in future. Quote
